I’m honored to have been mentored by a number of formidable authors such as Gail Parent (“Golden Girls” writer/producer), Andre Dubus III (The House of Sand and Fog), Tobias Wolff (This Boy’s Life), Erik Bork (Band of Brothers), and most recently, James Rubart (Rooms). I was also a recipient of a Hedgebrook fellowship, a writing residency for women located on Whidbey Island, WA.
